Ron Zook Tuesday press conference

The Zooker is all fired up today!
AaronMatas

Ron Zook: "This is a game everyone I think is looking forward to." Lot of respect for Paterno, PSU a good football team, UI is too
Ron Zook: "We are GONNA go out and play loose." Players are excited to go out there, play in front of national audience on ABC
Ron Zook: "I don't think you have to go back and change things. I think you tweak things. That's what good coaches do."
Zook is always energetic, just not usually for press conferences. He's on the offensive today.
Ron Zook: Had planned to put O'Toole in game, played well, should've checked down to RB on deep-throw interception
Zook: Told RB Jason Ford on Sunday they're going to "saddle up and ride him" this week.
Ron Zook: Leshoure at times made the oline look good but overall the offensive line is "probably a little bit better" this year. Hmm
Ron Zook said he was 12 years old when Paterno started coaching. Wouldn't say how much longer he thinks Paterno will coach.
Ron Zook on RB Josh Ferguson: Never seen a hamstring take as long to heal, hope to have him back soon. (My take: won't play Sat)

Darius Millines looked good in practice.
Reilly Otoole will likely play at Penn State.
Both Heitz and Cvijanovic will play Saturday
BobAsmussen

Zook hammering on playing loose in his presser: `If we play the way were capable of playing, it should be a fun game.'
Fun and Illinois football not words you'd use in same sentence the last two weeks.
Zook response when I asked about struggling offense: RT @studurando: Zook: "You don't just get bad, become a bad coach. It doesn't happen."
HerbGould

Zook won't make a commitment that Darius Millines will play Saturday, but said he probably could have gone last week.
