"The thing that hurts me the worst is, that was the game that could get us to seven (wins), then propel coach and the players forward," Koenning said. "What it would have meant to coach (Ron) Zook, what it would have meant to the players, just the positives that come with all that.
"Trust me, I understand being a head coach is a hard, hard, hard job. You need to have some positives because you have to deal with negatives all the time. I understand what it would have meant for him."
