Trulon Henry: 'We let our coach down'

"When you lose your leader to something like this, a lot of emotions get stirred up," Henry said. "He's our leader. Now we've got to look for a new leader."

Henry, who won't play in a bowl after being shot in the arm, is done with his Illinois career. He said he is concerned about the reaction of the younger players.

"They've got to meet a new coaching staff," Henry said. "They have to believe in that coach. There's a lot that goes into it. You've got to love your coach."
