Crandall Head, once considered one of the most promising high school basketball players in Illinois, appeared close Thursday to finalizing arrangements to complete a transfer to DePaul.
Asked about the possible transfer Thursday, Bo Delaney, stepfather of the 6-4 guard, said: "He's in the process of making the move to DePaul University. We haven't made it official yet. I talked to (Blue Demons assistant Billy Garrett) last night and they're working out some things before we make it official. But that's to lead us I believe to where he's going to end up and that's DePaul."
