Only miracle run can salvage Illini season

The Illini reached the title game as the No. 10 seed in 2008, losing to No. 1 Wisconsin 61-48.
"The last game (in 2008) really took a toll on us," Weber said. "We started out OK and kind of hit a wall. I've talked to the kids about a fresh start. You hope you get some breaks.
"You saw UConn do it last year. You hope some kids rise up and play special for the weekend. That's a great part of the Big Ten tournament and March Madness. Anything can happen."
