VCU's Shaka Smart says he's not thinking about rumor mill

Asked by The Times-Dispatch if he was committed to staying at VCU next year or if he would leave if the right opportunity came, Smart said, "I'm not focused on that stuff. My focus is 1,000 percent on our team and helping us win. It's the same thing I said last year when we were in this position going into the NCAA tournament. I love it at VCU and my focus is 1,000 percent on whoever we play next Thursday or Friday."

Asked on a conference call about how he deals with his team concerning the rumors, Smart had a similar response, saying he was staying in the moment.

On the Dan Patrick Show, Patrick told Smart he will get some calls when the season is over.
