With Shaka Smart off the market, who might the Illini look at next
March 22, 2012 9:05 AM
Each day there are conflicting reports about a coach's interest or lack of interest in the Illinois job. One day Florida State's Leonard Hamilton is interested, the next day he's staying put. One day Anthony Grant of Alabama is on the list, the next day he's not.
My belief is any coach is still on the list until Thomas has waved $2.5 to $3 million a year in front of them and they've actually told him, "No thanks."
