To my knowledge, there's not yet been any real interest there on the Drummond front. Coach John Groce has basically reiterated he'll treat these scholarships like gold and is going to be very careful with them.
And that's the catch here. Everyone wants to know who Illinois might add in the 2012 class. Well, there just might not be anyone out there that meets what this staff is looking for. By my quick count, only 11 of the top 140 players rated by Rivals.com in the nation are unsigned in the 2012 class. And by now, most of those players have a pretty good idea of the schools they're looking at.
