Simeon LB Reggie Spearman commits to Illini, will visit other schools

Simeon linebacker Reggie Spearman made an oral commitment to Illinois while attending a practice at Camp Rantoul on Tuesday evening.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Spearman said he already had planned to drive to watch camp and so the commitment "was a no-brainer." He added he still will make unofficial visits to other schools.
