Tim Banks says Rome wasn't built in day

Evidently, defensive coordinator Tim Banks doesn't need a pep talk after his unit allowed 527 yards. Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson threw for 159 yards and rushed for 128 yards while accounting for four touchdowns.

"(Beckman) understands Rome wasn't built in a day," Banks said. "There's a reason why we're here. There are things that have to be evaluated and tweaked here and there.

"I'm not giving up. I'm not shaking."
