"Where do we go from here?" Groce asked, rhetorically. "That's our theme today. We have to be very mature and humble as we approach this game. The last time we had success, coming home after (winning the Maui Invitational), I didn't feel like we played particularly well. That's our challenge, to see how mature we're going to be."
Beyond tonight's final score, Groce will be looking to see how Illinois performs in specific areas. That, he said, will tell him if the 10-0 Illini are focused on the job at hand.
"How hard we play and how focused we are and how tough we are, those will be the biggest barometers," Groce said. "How we go after loose balls, our energy level, rebounding, deflections, active hands, how hard we run both ways with our transition offense and defense. Things that relate to energy and being locked in."
