Groce anxious to blend new and old

Speaking about transfers Jon Ekey from Illinois State and Ahmad Starks from Oregon State, Groce said each was exactly what he and the staff were hoping for.

"Every time we talked about our needs for this coming season we talked about a '4' who could shoot the 3 and a point guard, preferably an experienced point guard," he said. "The basketball gods smiled on us because these guys are just what we needed."
