Day 2 standouts GRBA Nationals

Aaron Jordan, shooting guard (Illinois Stars 16U)
It's hard to pick which player on the Illinois Stars 16U is the most impressive game in and game out, but Jordan had a nice day. He has such a refined perimeter game. His go to weapon is his jumper which he was knocking down on a consistent basis. He opened up one game with two wing threes followed by a skilled drive to the hoop. Jordan continues to get better going to the basket and with his perimeter jumper if they leave him open it's going in. The rising junior went for 17 points in their morning victory.

Michael Finke, power forward (Peoria Irish 17U - Committed to Illinois)
Finke was doing his thing as always in the pick and pop game. He is a plus shooter from the perimeter as he has a good feel for spacing and knocking down the jumper. The area that has impressed is his improved assertiveness around the basket. He is looking to score more in the post and is finishing strong in the paint. His combination of perimeter skills and upside on the block make him a very intriguing prospect at the next level.
