Illinois coach John Groce's consistently strong recruitment of Bragg has made an impression. Bragg was hesitant to specify a leader in his recruitment but said it recently had been Illinois before adding, "Well, it kind of is" still because of "the way they come at me."

"I don't want to give no favorites," he said. "It was just one of them that stood out a little bit."
