What is everyone’s opinion on the Shohei gambling deal? I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m pretty sure there is no bookie that would place that much in bets for a random. Also, I’m not 4, of the 100’s of millions of dollars bet, there were bets placed on baseball.

Either Ohtani's the most trusting soul in the world or an ignorant fool..........I can't say he knew nothing about it until more info comes out.......

Supposedly the feds reviewed approximately 9,700 pages of text messages between the two and there was nothing showing Ohtani knew anything about it

With the Blues losing tonight and being eliminated from the playoffs it's time for me to move all my attention over to the Cardinals........I missed the nado & Nootbaar bomb's but am now tuned in tonight's game..................

Cardinals up 6-3 in the bottom of the 5th with 2 outs.......Matz just got pulled.......Oli gave him as much rope as he could to get Matz to qualify for a win, but you could tell Matz was gassed........

Back at .500 @ 7 - 7..........Helsley with an 11 pitch close out in the bottom of the 9th , looking very impressive in doing so.......

Arenado & Nootbarr with big fly's and as Ryllini said the young lads came through with the go ahead runs for the win........

This game will challenge Kyle. Roof open and the ball will be flying. Kyle needs a clean start and as I type it he gives up a double.

Only gave up 1 run , so better than last outing by Gibson........his control or lack of it has it's concerns.......

The Dynamic Duo tied the game with a Walker triple and a Winn single ..........very impressed with Winn's overall play this year and his hitting is surprising after watching him last year be an off balance hitter.......his single was over 107 mph velo........

Cards -az tied up 1-1 bottom of the 5th..............

Another game where we had a golden opportunity. Ducks were on the pond and the offense didn't come through. Next half inning they get guys on and cash. That's baseball, but that's not how I want our baseball story to go. We've got a good team and my early season goal of 8-8 after these first 5 series is on the table. Go get it and let's get to Oakland and sweep.

Anyone notice how the Cards are employing the swim move when sliding into bases.Seems like our younger players have used it sucessfully.Baserunner lifts inside arm up while tagging bag with other arm.Don't recall that being used previously.interesting strategy.

Yes. And more to your point we have a teams with some more athletic athletes on it if that makes sense.
