There’s no insider info to be had other than visits. Jeremy doesn’t know who is actually going to commit. Neither does anyone on here. The only people that know is the person committing.

Carey Booth only visits IL and CSU. It doesn’t take an “insider” to think he will commit to IL.

Boswell is from Urbana, only visits IL. Doesn’t take an insider to think he will commit to IL.

Harris redshirted this year. Then his coach left. Doesn’t take an insider to think he’d probably portal out. Same with Hansberry.

All the insiders here lost their insider cred when they claimed RayJ was a done deal. Just people talking out their behinds hoping for the most positive thing to happen, then when it doesn’t happen claiming recruiting is fluid.
Who hurt you? I want to believe in something. It doesn't have to be pure. Maybe it is pure. I dont care either way. #IWonThisArguement.

Thank you! It is like everyone completely forgets a point guard was a lock from Tyger to RayJ.

Man. I miss the good old days, when it was Illinois recruiting buzz, and everyone was not trying to be a smart !!! clown. Is that what FB is? No wonder I never wanted to enter that portal. Enough of the GIFS, if that’s the right word.

If there were any insiders here, they’d have known Chester Frazier was leaving before that news hit. That’s pretty big program news that would be tough to keep secret. Local guys didn’t break it. Nobody here did. A national guy did
Don't tell us what you know or what we think we know. This is a message board sir (or madam). That's uncalled for.

Let’s just say this…. At the absolute worst:

The top insiders on this forum follow basketball very closely. They know substantially more than most anyone on this thread. They know high school basketball, college basketball, and the NBA. They know who’s making visits. They have an idea about rumors and other information that is circulating in the basketball world.

Where are they getting this info? These guys may be AAU or HS coaches. They may be Illinois boosters. They may just be guys with a lot of time on their hands watching games, scouring Twitter, and viewing every P6 message board in the country. Does it matter where they get their information?

If you follow this forum closely (I check almost every day) then you would know that these guys are right more often than not. Stop wasting thread space disparaging the guys who are the only reason most of us come to IL.

Yet none of them knew when one of our own assistant coaches was on his way out?

Child please…

If you are coming on here to debate the validity of an insider or an insider's batting average or basically anything involving "insider"...take a deep breath, close your browser, and walk away. I personally won't see your posts anymore either way -- y'all are getting an instant ignore from me -- but for the good of the order, please just stop.

What about me? I'm trying to defend the boards honor. Are you ignoring me?

There were posts about assistants potentially leaving and one about dissention amongst the staff long before the news broke. Inside sources are actually kinda a common thing just gotta know the right person.

I believe it was said by an insider that the plan was for Booth to be a 4. It sounded like he doesn't want to play as a 5 but would rather play more on the perimeter. Almost seems like he wants to be a Michael Porter Jr. type player. Would obviously assume he's a nuggets fan.
I'm a long time rabid Nuggets fan dating back to the Doug Moe era. Obviously, Calvin Booth was a great college player and has proven himself to be a superb front office man in the NBA.

I've followed his son. He's a solid player and still growing into his full potential. He would be a really nice pick up for the O&B. Plus, always nice to get that validation from dad that this is the type of program he trusts to develop his son.
