TJ was not an All-American at this time last year. TJ couldn't go right. TJ didn't shoot well enough. TJ needed to tighten up his handles. TJ needed to play with consistent effort and not take so many quick shots. TJ turned himself into an All-American last summer.

That's who came to mind for me too, watching this tape. Good athlete, good length, perhaps a little too willing to stand outside and shoot 3's. Probably needs to get stronger to be an impact player. I am, however, a sucker for a guy who likes to use the backboard from the mid-range wing.

It's not as though they wouldn't have needed to make a leap. Butler is an unknown at this level, and Sencire wouldn't have taken a redshirt if he was better than DGL.

DGL will have to beat out several other good players for minutes. If DGL is getting a lot of minutes, it’s almost certainly a good thing. I think the same can be said for just about everyone on the roster. DGL is as hard of a worker as anyone & Brad loves him. Underestimate him at your own risk...

These do happen. Booth & White both have extremely high ceilings. How big of a STUD can you get who will be willing to come off the bench? These are guys we might not necessarily project to start, but will absolutely push our starters for minutes.
