A poster on another site says Demin ain't happening. And they're saying Piper confirmed it. We're out. The price tag is $2M.
Is the wing spot this staff's new Achilles heel?
If they don't add an impact player or two (one big and one sizable wing), I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than last season's result (borderline Tourney team). Maybe that's all Green strives for, knowing how competitive WBB is these days. But I really thought she'd work her !!! off to land...
Things could change, but some of our insiders have said it'd be a shock if Tre White isn't starting. I'd probably put him at the 3/4 alongside Brickhouse and Ivisic. Of course, that kinda means we'd need an excellent outside shooter at the wing.
If Underwood can reel in EGOR or a solid scoring option at the wing spot, this team has a real shot at the second weekend of the Big Dance again. That's a big IF, but you gotta think he can get someone like Wooga if EGOR ain't comin'.
That's not Illinois' punter. That's St. Joseph-Ogden's biology teacher. He won a silent auction to dress up as a 30-year-old punter and get some sweet action shots taken.
Sounds like Ivisic is close to being locked up by Brad and Company. Working with Admissions to finish this one up. (That's the rumor, anyway.) If that's the case, Illinois needs to lock down a stud (or stud-lite) wing and maybe another ball handler to wrap up this offseason. I wonder who's still...
