What an incredible year, a heart felt thanks to the players, they gave us a lot of joy, pride and wonderful memories. I felt the game was lost when we came out executing the same game plan and I don't blame the players for that.

I talk about a lot of Illini teams that I've loved watching and following for over 60 years, but I honestly feel this is the most special team that I've seen, and you all know that is saying a whole bunch.
