Is my memory of that finish correct? IIRC, IU had advanced the ball to first-down distance, and all the ball carrier had to do was fall down and they could victory-formation the clock out--BUT--we forced a fumble and went on to score/win.

I'm an Ayo fan, not very much a Bulls/NBA fan, but I'm a bit surprised they didn't pull the pin at the deadline and attempt some form of reboot.
One of my dad's friends taught at Concord HS and saved me a bunch of local sports page material on Kemp--I was playing a much lower-altitude brand of HS ball myself at the time... I remember one story talking about his 10-dunk game and it featured, if my memory serves, this photo:
