Ipswich Town defeated Huddersfield Town 2:0 earlier today and clinched the 2nd automatic promotion spot to the Premier League. 2nd straight season Ipswich Town has been promoted and first time since the 2001-02 season they'll be playing in the Premier League. Hull City lost at Plymouth Argyle so West Brom and Norwich City get the final two playoff spots.

Playoff matchups will be Leeds United-Norwich City and Southampton-West Brom with the first legs of the playoff matches played next Sunday.

Chelsea and Manchester United both still have a chance at European football for next season. Manchester United, with their game in hand tomorrow against Palace, still could jump over Spurs for the Europa League spot by the end of the season. Chelsea has a chance to too but would need a few things to break their way for it happen. Their best chance for European football is likely the Conference League.

While possible, 2 of Spurs final 3 matches are against Burnley and Sheffield United, who are sitting in 19th and 20th place. I still anticipate that they will finish 5th in the table, which is a far cry from the 12th-14th that was predicted many pundits at the beginning of the season due to a new manager and no Harry Kane.

And if you haven't seen how Bayern Munich is doing this season, apparently Spursing sticks with a player even after they leave the club.

David Moyes leaving West Ham by mutual consent at the end of the season. Did manage the club to their first trophy in 43 years last season when they won the Europa Conference League. Club had a recent run of poor form, which included this past weekend's 5:0 thrashing to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui has reportedly agreed to a deal to take over for Moyes after the season ends.
