Based on what public evidence? You even stated it is based on your opinion. I hope you're right, but journalists aren't paid to hope. They're paid to ask and answer questions based on evidence.

Yeah, but we can take their fans out of it during the game. And if they're nervous instead of cheering, that can also affect their team.

It's only based on my opinion. I am an excellent judge of character, sometimes without even meeting someone. TSJ has a very bright Aura...which is something that only some of the good and pure have. I'm sticking with there's no way he did this. Refer to the end of my post if it ends up being true.

This is not 100% of them. Many are paid to sell media. Not don’t care about the literal truth as much as money from adds / gaining followers and not specifically breaking libel laws.

Yeah, something tells me Dan Hurley doesn't take anything for granted.

I'm looking forward to this game's chess match. I thought BU "outcoached" Otz (I kinda don't like that word because it's never that simple), in the sense that we really didn't allow ISU to trap us sideline or baseline very often. Our game plan was solid, and extremely evident when we were up 11-2. Great job by the staff last game, can they do it again?

The match up isn’t that bad. They don’t have the blow by type players who we struggle to guard. Just switch and don’t leave your guy. Limit their offensive rebounds.

On offense make the midrange when it’s open, hit your open 3s and free throws and draw fouls inside when we can. And run the court on every possession.

Finally the refs need to call arm grabs and not call flops.

I live in MD, but my home office is in W. Mass. Many UCONN fans there, even though UMASS is the local team. I want them to see us beat them. I have a huge :illinois: hanging in my office there, and I will take that everywhere I go next time I am up there.

*That :illinois: is from my son, who collected several of them for me when he worked the tourney games in Pittsburgh a couple years ago. They were hanging in the locker room.

TSJ was charged with a serious crime. You might think he did nothing wrong. We all might think that. But the evidence that has been released publicly is scant, as is often the case in active legal cases before trial. If you actually objectively look at the evidence that is publicly available, we all honestly have no idea what really happened in that bar.

So that brings me back to the media boogeyman that some of us like to deride so heavily. They aren't looking at this through the same orange-colored glasses we are, and objectively, there are a lot of open questions. Their job is to ask those open questions and report on the answers. That's what they are doing.

All the media would have to do to make it seem more fair would be to say the charges arose from an alleged interaction of less than a minute in a campus bar. If they really wanted to be fair they could also add that he has not been formally charged with a crime as there has yet to be a probable cause hearing.
