I know this isn't anything groundbreaking but anyone who wants to see the demise of Groce's tenure at Illinois, just watch our offense when TJL is not on the floor.

DJAX, Brunson, Snider, Evans etc and we're not searching for a new coach right now.

Our offense is functional with TJL on the floor. It's still not really anything amazing, we are just less prone to the incredibly long scoreless stretches.

Also, Groce could've gotten a TJL-caliber PG any year prior to last. He shot for the stars and whiffed repeatedly, with no backup plan. That's on him.

MH has carried this team for the last 4 years (not to an NCAA tourney of course) but wow will I not miss Hero Ball when this Senior group is gone.

In addition, as good as Hill has been, he is probably the most guilty of playing hero ball...

Did we not say that about McCamey. Then Rice. And now Hill? Someone else will take over the hero role.
