BOOM! Feed my ego.
This is why you need a guy like Orlando Antiqua. If you want big boy recruits you need big boy recruiters.

That ticks me off the most, if you are gonna ask out of your NLI, don't retweet your original commitment?

What stinks is that Cuonzo was there at ESL to "visit his sister" not long ago...and coincidentally now JT is gone. Although that visit was before the recent announced recommitment. WhAt happened in the last 48 hours!?

In re-reading his message, his last sentence is "Illinois will always remain an option because of my ongoing relationship with Coach Walker but this is my future and I need to be certain before I come to campus in June."

That last part actually gives me some hope that he's still an Illini lean

I hope Illini fans can keep it classy on social media. He will still consider us, and I believe it is a VERY VERY slim chance he comes back to the Illini but the door is still slightly open.

Can we stop with this talk? We're moving beyond this level now. No one player is going to define our future - would have helped alot - but I would hope we don't feel the desperation of the last 10 years.

Top 30 bigs just don't grow on trees.

How convenient this occurs hours after a scholarship becomes available at Missouri.

Cuonzo was at ESL on March 28th.

Anyone else done with this recruitment?

Go somewhere else. Just seems like he loves messing with our fan base

He's not, he is as good as gone.

Oh the joys of following a sport dictated by the whims of young adults. I totally get why JT is doing this, but man, this has been a brutal recruitment to follow. I hope he finds what he wants and is able to stick with one school during his career.

The info I shared was correct. Brad got played to keep Walker his job.

What was the point of keeping Walker on the staff? This is turning into a disaster.

Disaster is a bit of a stretch. Walker was able to help keep Frazier, Williams, and Javon. That is really tough to do, keeping 3/4 of your incoming recruits with a brand new HC that none have a relationship with. Sure, JT is the "Prize" but he did a great job making sure everyone else stays.

If he goes to Missouri, they owned us this offseason. Let's be real here.

I don't think it is a disaster at all. I hope Walker wasn't kept just for Tilmon.

But....think there is any chance any of these players ask out after Tilmon goes?

Anything is possible. I don't think Frazier or Williams would though. But now it definitely doesn't look good for Smith.
