Wish him the best. Seems like a good guy. Not at all disappointed about him leaving.
Looking forward to replacements that add more skill and fit better in BU system.

I am disappointed that it didn't work out for him as well as he'd have liked. He's a solid , hard working kid. He represented the school well.

Best of luck to Finke wherever he ends up .

Good lord I hope we get our targets signed. No neither is a huge surprise but both were guys who would contribute to next years team. That production will be tough to replace with freshmen.

The rebuild plans are looking like the Lovie approach. Turn the roster over and use transfer minimally. Looking like Giorgi, Jones, Ayo, Kane, and Griffin. Think they roll over a scholly for 2019 unless it is for a Ramey type player. Not sure they go after a grad transfer.

This one sucks. Could definitely use him as a rotation guard next two years. Great defender, good athlete, good handle/creator. Too bad. I totally get it- he came here to be the main PG. best of luck to him.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I can’t imagine why someone who has experienced campus life at a legitimate university would want to transfer to a for profit college. No way would I follow my kid brother into that nightmare.

Now, I will be the first to pile on these for-profit colleges who largely exist primarily to take advantage of federal student aid and take advantage of the students using it. That said, GCU is in the process of transitioning to non-profit status, so I suppose I owe them a little bit more respect than most.

Isn't new like this support to come out on a Friday before a long weekend or something? Rough Monday....

First day back from their spring break. Knew that Tejon, Finke, and Matic were gone. It's not a freak out moment. Now it's time to build our roster with toughness and talent!

We're gonna have such a good draft pick next year though. At least this frees up a lot of money to sign a big free agent in the offseason.

What? This is college? Oh... Nevermind then.

That's what you want to do when you want to bury the news. This news isn't necessarily bad news, though. We simply don't know the behind-the-scenes details.

Many people here have speculated that GCU is a possible destination for Finke, but he and Lucas could both rejoin Groce at Akron.
