Anyone else think that Markese Jacobs gets recruited over by Kansas and ends up back on the market before it's all said and done?

There is even some Hinson and football info out there. Both Harbutt and FSU offered him football ships when he was in the 8th grade.

Yeah, he would probably being a real battler on the boards or the football turf. Appears to be, should I say, an athlete like Larry Bird. :D

When he shoots the three, he not only jumps vertically, but also horizontally. This could lead to many four point opportunities I would think.

Good video find! Hadn't seen that one.

He schools Oregon-bound 7'3" 5* Bol Bol about 5 times in that Findley Prep game, including a nice offensive rebound and putback. His ability to finish around the rim and shoot that quick-release jumper off the pick and pop are really impressive.

I know Okoro is a beast, but I want Golden even more (yea, I said it). He would fit so well in the pinch post or setting that ball-screen for a curling ballhandler where he could pop out for a three or slip toward the basket for a dunk. Golden would be an impact player right away. He just opens up so many possibilities in that offense that we just don't have the personnel for right now.

Golden's brother is a richmond spider btw who collapsed during a game last year due to heart arrhythmia.

Yea, (beside the incident) he did have a good year (see info below) - good basketball family.

Although, I have to say, the dad must be tall.

Grant Golden (Freshman redshirt season):
• Scored 498 points, breaking the record for most points by a Spider freshman (Mike Perry - 494 in 1977-78)
* Averaged team-high 15.6 points per game and recorded 6.7 rebounds per game (second on team)
• One of seven freshmen in D-I to average 15.5 points and six rebounds per game
• Led team with five double-doubles, most by a Spiders freshman since 1998-99 (Charles Stephens)
• Selected Third-Team All-Conference and All-Rookie Team in Atlantic 10 ... With Davidson's Kellan Grady, first freshmen to make A-10 All-Conference team since 2012-13 (Semaj Christon, Xavier)
• Named A-10 Rookie of the Week three times (November 27, January 29, March 5)
• Selected to All-Tournament Team at Cayman Islands Classic after averaging 18 points and five rebounds while shooting 56 percent from field in three games

I won't go as far as you in wanting him over Okoro, but I'm with you on the rest. Big fan of Golden's game/skill set, would love to see him used in BU's offense.

Really, really like Golden a lot (based on highlights). He seems like he's everything I wanted Finke to be. Hope the Cuse CBs are based on him visiting recently/nothing legit.

him being better than Finke would probably be him making his shots and free throws

Dont forget Purdue also lost their strength and conditioning coach who was considered the best in Big Ten and one of the best in the country.
