I think he’s releasing his Top 4 which I assume is Florida, Illinois, Ohio State, and Penn State

Penn State isn't recruiting him very heavily. they're making a push for a 5* TE out of Arkansas for the 2019 class, and they already have 2 4* TEs in the 2018 class. More than likely, he's a secondary option for Franklin.

I think it'll come down to Illinois and Florida.

Wow we are not looking goof on Twitter because of that dude. Recruiting momentum almost feels nonexistent as of now.

Was deleted. What happened?

A mizzou fan replied to ira henry's Oklahoma post saying "those Trinity kids are not worth our time". Some mizzou fans claim its an illini fan with a fake profile. Looking at all his tweets and replies, i think its a legit mizzou fan who has a problem with the trinity program.

Yup.

College baseball probably best of all for the free education aspect (if you're not a monster bonus baby), but looks like Hermosillo made the right call for himself.

A baseball scholarship is not a free education. With only 12 scholarships, friars usually offered a 40-60% deal.

He did and Hermosillo still gets a free education. His contract with the Angels requires them to pay for college for him. He played it well- plays the better sport ($ and health) and still gets college paid for. Also, most baseball scholarships are not full. The majority of college baseball scholarships are partial. I believe baseball is limited to 11.7 scholarships to distribute. That's tough.

Yeah but am I wrong though that an elite talent who's going in the first round is probably taking up a full scholarship? That was my understanding.

I want to know what they are teaching these kids at Chicago Phillips. What is their definition of soon?
Jahleel's video was coming soon as of the 24th
Fabian's top schools was coming soon as of the 25th.....

I take it as a good sign that Jahleel is taking longer.

Haha... I agree - “soon” keeps us on edge but it is just kids having fun and relishing their accomplishments and attention. I remember being pumped reading my name in the small town local paper after a football game. Can’t imagine the excitement of getting 1000’s of folks praise online based upon a few word tweet

We make Ira Henry’s Top Ten. Michigan does not.

His recent tweet doesn't give a warm and fuzzy feeling for being an Illini. Honestly thought he was pretty much a lock for us at one time. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed on just about all those guys.

I still think we are in good position. Williams was flirting with Ohio state and thought they were leaders before we asked him to commit. My take is that they are playing with the process and open to all schools, but if we ask many of them to commit, they would.

Maybe I'm just not as connected into recruiting as others, but what would be the downside to asking these guys to commit? (assuming it's simply asking, not playing the "commit or lose your spot" game). I mean we're the worst program in the B1G. Having guys with offers from powerhouse programs commit to us would be huge.
