Every manager (in every sport) has a shelf life. Wenger's expired a long time ago. Emery has done well. As to a future managing role, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Wenger has one more flourish in his bag.
rumour is Bayern Munich as football director in January but he could become the manager too, they are not playing well

Didn't get a chance to watch the match today as I was traveling but I did see that Everton snatched 3 points away from Crystal Palace in a 2:0 victory with goals late in the game by Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun.

Toffees travel to Old Trafford next Sunday to take on Manchester United.

Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha killed in a helicopter crash outside King Power Stadium following yesterday's match vs. West Ham. Srivaddhanaprabha was among 5 fatalities in the crash.

I think it's hysterical TottenSCUM is still stuck playing at Wembley...they should be docked points.

The EPL knew Arsenal was playing on Thursday, why make them play the prior Monday, play Thursday in Europe, and then play on Sunday?

Docked points because the Wembley facilities people aren't able to properly maintain their pitch? Spurs reserved the right to play as many matches as necessary this season at Wembley. If they can't keep their pitch in order, it isn't Spurs fault.

Their stadium was supposed to be ready for the start of this season......

Beginning of the season was the target (very aggressive). They knew that they would likely not hit the target and reserved the right to play as many games as necessary at Wembley this season before the end of last season.

Why is the Tottenham game so late? I don’t remember a EPL game ever starting that late on Saturday.

Why is the Tottenham game so late? I don’t remember a EPL game ever starting that late on Saturday.

I asked someone on another board and they had this to say:

2 main reasons.

1. The game was scheduled for tomorrow but Spurs have a Tuesday 6PM kick off in the champions league and that was deemed to not be enough recovery time.

2. IIRC the premier league are putting out a package of games in that timeslot in the next round of rights sales and this was a chance to trial it.

The first one seems right as I did find an article that said that it was moved up because Spurs are supposed to host PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday (the 6PM kickoff time is BST obviously).

Everton and Chelsea play to a 0:0 draw as both sides had opportunities to score but neither one could get into the back of the net. Toffees have still only ever won once at Stamford Bridge in Premier League play.

Everton returns to action following next week's international break on November 24th at home vs. Cardiff City.

Everton wins 1:0 at home over Cardiff City. Lone goal of the match came in the 59th minute by Gylfi Sigurdsson. Fourth straight win at home for the Toffees and fifth in their last seven matches of any type of competition.

Everton travels to Anfield for the Merseyside Derby next Sunday. Month of December is gonna be tough as they have, in addition to the Merseyside Derby, an away match at Manchester City and a home match vs. Spurs.

Tottenham totally dominated Chelsea and handed them their first defeat of the year 3-1. With the win, Spurs jump Chelsea in the table and move into 3rd place.

Total suckage (sports wise) yesterday, save for the Gunners. Cracking match. Emery has them rolling. Torreira has been a great add.
