From Dan's article on the front page about DJ Steward

I know he transferred away, but it would still be cool to see a former Fenwick player on Illinois' roster. We haven't produced much talent in the last 25 years sans Corey Maggette, and we all know how that went.

It'd be a pretty big slap in the face if he left for Texas to help them rebuild when his home state team is currently rebuilding.

I think Tevian will be a slightly taller, better shooting version of Hassan Adams.

SLEEPER EMERGES WITH OLIVIER ROBINSON-NKAMHOUA
Looking for a sleeper late in the year? Try Finnish forward Olivier Robinson-Nkamhoua. The 6-foot-8 senior with the Bishop Walsh program was out of sight last year thanks to a broken leg and has just been in the United States for two years. However, Coach Dan Prete may have a major breakout candidate on his hand. He finished with 15 points, six rebounds and three blocks in his team’s hard-fought defeat as he is the perfect small ball power forward in today’s game. Arkansas and Wake Forest have begun to show greater attention with the intriguing forward.

From the same article...

SUITORS EMERGE FOR ENARUNA

You wished he would look to be more of a scoring threat but there is a lot of abilities and talent in tow with Rivals150 forward Tristan Enaruna. He finished with just two points but what the Netherlands native does best is put pressure on the opposing unit with the under-control but shifty dribble-drive attack, playmake and defend different positions. Creighton dispatched an assistant for him as he will likely visit the Big East program after his season complete, though Illinois, Kansas and Miami are just three others that will be in the mix until the very end.

Thanks for posting those @IlliniBrave75 I can't remember if it was you or not, but someone a while back was posting about a wing in the 19 class from possibly England? Kid seemed super athletic. Any updates if you know who I am talking about based on a super vague description.

Sorta tall. Blondish brown hair. Wears T-Shirts. Sometimes.

I went to St. Ignatius. I graduated the year before Maggette. I remember the team with him, Chris Williams at PG, Jabari Harris at C and (occasionally) Mark Treadwell. Good to see a fellow Catholic League alum here even if we are rivals.

Kofi did not play well in that game. However it did seem he was ignored by his teammates. If that was the only clip I saw I would say he was a 2 star.
come on man you judge him off one game. IT A national televise game his teammates are going to try to show off as much as possible. That one of reason why there are losing games against ranked teams in the nation if you give him the ball he is scoring every time his 6'10 305 that a man beast that way he was rank as a 5 star because you give him the ball with that size he going to score. so just chill and he going to lose a little weight and regain that with muscle and he going to be all big ten type in the next 2 years

I was like 8 years old then. My siblings went to school there then though so I would still go to games. My memories of St. Ignatius in basketball was more Nnanna Egwu destroying us. Of course, Fenwick finally got good for the first time since Maggette, only to be destroyed by Ayo's Morgan Park even without Ayo who was injured. Whoops.

I always thought it was fairly obvious this is what he meant. I was more confused that people on here were upset by it or completely missed what he meant.
I think most knew what he meant, it just was not a very good saying.
