We lost one we should’ve won, now we gotta win one we’re supposed to lose. This one would do.

Purdue- Undefeated at home.
Illinois- One road win.

I’ve had this game marked in the L column all season, and nothing has changed that.

Two road wins*

Edit: unless neutral site maryland doesn't count

I don’t expect this one to be very close. Purdue wins by double digits. Edwards is going to get to the cup at will if we try over-pressuring him out top. And Kline will kill us from deep.

Close to zero chance on this one, so maybe we pull it out! Bad matchup for us. Tough place to play. I hope we go back to playing all out with the nothing to lose mentality. The last two games I thought we had a few guys pressing and forcing things.

I’d put the line at -12. Anyone know what our record is vs the spread this year?

12--Win
15--Loss

Purdue is my 14th favorite BT team, just ahead of Wisconsin. I lived in Lafayette 13 years and think their fans inferiority complex to IU (historically in terms of national titles) make their fans especially obnoxious. Also, Keady beat us more than a few times when we had better talent. Might have to watch this one on replay. If blowout, I will just skip.

The Penn State loss put the nail in the coffin but I hope our boys come out strong and give them a game.

No matter what happens, I hope this one will at least be fun to watch.

Single digit loss will be a huge accomplishment.

I put our chances at slim and none...but as crazy as college BKB has been this year wouldn't put it past the Illini to come out and play well coupled with the Boilers stinking it up....there's a chance

See, I'm with you here. We've proven beyond all reasonable doubt that not only can we lose to absolutely anybody, but we can win against absolutely anybody. It just depends who decides to show up on the court.

Easy to get discouraged after the last two games, but I agree with Kiwane that the arrow is pointing up... any game left on our schedule is a possible W.

Indiana should have beat them and held them to 48 points. We have a shot.

Indiana was at home if I remember correctly. However, you are correct Indiana had every opportunity to win.

Purdue is a pretty 3 point heavy team, so if they are cold, we got a shot. Even if Edwards is off, he'll try to shoot until he is back on. We'll have to be very aggressive in our defensive rotations and close outs. That will leave us vulnerable to some quick inside plays, but probably worth it.
Offensively, two of the big three will need to have games.

Edwards looked like a third-stringer against Indiana.

I don't know how much Indiana had to do with that.

Anyone has the ratio of number of turnovers to times we get beat down low. turnovers/opponet layups????

If we shot 45%
If we get 20 turnovers
If we hold the "moose in the middle like we held Happ down

"If ifs and buts........."

Here's TO% compared to 2P baskets made/possession. I don't know where to grab a layups number easily, but 2 pointers made is probably a good enough proxy.
