With John Beilein going to the Cavs, are there any MU recruits or players who may be looking to flip/transfer?

Damn, liked this guy.

Obviously the Mayor did too. Cross has a body that is B1G ready right now. Fred has been on the job less than 2 months but has quietly put together a very good recruiting class considering the timing. He has been very active in Chicago.

Huh? I though it took time to build up a basketball program.....even at a powerhouse perennial basketball power like Nebraska. /s

Foolish in your opinion. In most human endeavors if your only successful 1-60 you probably should step back and evaluate where you need to improve.

I do hope you are correct in your last sentence.

So you thought people didn't understand that my post stated my opinion? It always kills me when people think they can relate everyday business life to college athletics. So you think we had open offers to all of these 60 guys we were supposedly recruiting? LOL

Since Memphis just landed Boogie Ellis, that puts them at 6 people in the class of 2019. Plus they have another top transfer coming in. 7 new players next year!

How do they still have any scholarships left to keep pursuing the likes of Precious Achiuwa, RJ Hampton, and Trendon Wattford?

Try not to fixate on one aspect of my post. I don’t know what kind of offers they have out and I’m guessing neither do you unless you’re on the staff. The results are the results. Recruiting is selling a kid on coming to your school. The big picture is that so far this recruiting season has been disappointing with only one signing. IMO, the staff needs to do a better job focusing and closing on recruits.

The current state of college recruiting can't be compared to anything, because it's really unlike anything else now. Maybe the sales comparison works with recruiting from the past, but not now. There are just too many variables for each party to compare it to a simple sales transaction. Even a complex multi year sales contract would be a tough comparison because here we are talking about humans as both a product and a service as well as the college program as both a product and a service. Add in the new draft entry rules and the FBI investigation into back alley agent deals and.....

Interesting that you say you don't know about the offers the staff has made but yet you're running on about 1 out of 60.

Odds were put out with Beard as the most likely to get the Michigan job. If that happens, I wonder if Holyfield flips back to us.
