What happened with tate? He comit elsewhere or what's going on?

I never understood why people assumed that he was coming here. Because of the Rod Smith connection? Unless the QB-OC relationship was extraordinarily close or something, it's pretty rare for a kid to leave a school for the purpose of following an OC somewhere.

Unlike Tommy Stevens, Tate will obviously be starting at his original school if he stays. Why would a California kid leave a guaranteed starting position at a school he already knows to play for a worse team 2,000 miles away that lacks WRs?

He has a close relationship. At the end of the season he had told people he was planning to leave. Sumlin system doesn’t highlight his strengths.

From what I’ve heard, he had a huge summer/off season and immersed himself in sunlins system and is developing himself to be a force.

In past years, I would complain about not getting a 2:30 start for Homecoming. But I have resigned myself that until we're good that I'm content with 11:00 starts so that I can watch the better teams play while tailgating.

Ugh. 11 am games. Can't get there from StL in time, can't tailgate.

Well, there's three home games I won't be going to. I do have to thank them for announcing them so early.

Maybe it was because there was a lot of chatter coming from Arizona that he was? Things solidified for him. Had he not left the spring as the clear starter, things would be interesting with him.

Not a lot of info out there on him, but certainly a position of great need. Has some decent size at 6’4”.

I couldn't find much either. His stats indicate that he barely played as a Junior:

His HUDL highlights as well:

His HUDL profile says that he runs a 4.44 40. I'd be interested in hearing more about his backstory. Maybe he just started playing football?

There are a lot of guys that don't play football just because their mom doesn't let them. If you're a legit athlete then I guess you're probably better off waiting until your last 1 or 2 years to play in order to save your body.

Those highlights show how much of a big play receiver he is. With his speed and hieght and being on a runner up team in texas state, it blows my mind that that he is unknown.
