Anyone watching the u20 World Cup? The USA played some really good soccer today against Nigeria. 60% possession. Composed with the ball. Played well out of the back. The midfield trio was connected and dominated with a true and fluid 6, 8, and 10. It was great to see.

They play Qatar on Thursday. A win would get them to the knockout round.

After the lackluster attendance in today's Europa League final, hopefully UEFA gets their head out of their backsides and have it played in sites where the majority of fans can get to.

They messed up.....BAD. Maybe the atmosphere was better live, but on tv it sounded like a friendly. I did enjoy the wider camera angle though. Got to watch more off the ball movement. A unique experience from most premier league games.

U.S. qualifies for the knockout round in the U-20 World Cup with a 1:0 win over Qatar today. Lone goal scored by Timothy Weah.

U.S. will face either France or Mali on Tuesday.

US faces France on Tuesday. France probably has the best side in the tournament, but we tied them 2-2 recently.

US came alive in the 2nd half and shocks France 3-2. That Soto kid is a goal scoring machine.

U.S. U-20s loses to Ecuador 1:2. All scoring came in the first half including a goal by Timothy Weah.

While it's disappointing to see them not advance further (given they've advanced to the quarterfinals in the last 3 tournaments, including this one), the most important thing right now is for the U.S. to build a core group of players for the USMNT for 2022 and for them to eventually be taken as a serious contender in 2026.

After that scintillating performance against Venezuela, impossible to be excited about the US team. The schedule is lame too. Maybe they'll beat T&T this time (ugh).

First "seeded" team of the tournament knocked out as Honduras lost to Curacao 0:1 and is eliminated in Group C. That group will come down to the final match day on Tuesday when Jamaica plays Curacao and Honduras plays El Salvador at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
