I’d love to met all of you guys/girls out and let you in how Mike Thomas operated a power 5 division 1 athletic program...

Deal. I’d love to hear it. I’ll let you know next time I’m back for a game.

Also, he seemed to do alright at Cincy. What the crud happened when he came here??

He got lucky with Brian Kelly and Cronin. He didn’t really have to do much. Terrible fundraiser, terrible people skills, oh and when you hire a coach after a phone/Skype interview and that’s it you should be fired immediately.

I started suspecting Thomas was a lazy fraud when his first letter to I Fund members was exposed as a cut-and-paste of the same letter he sent to Cincy donors years earlier. Anyone else remember that?

According to this article:

Florida basketball: Gators look to Boston University for big man

Illinois is the early favorite to land Tyler Scanlon. I don't know how a Florida fan site would know this (guessing?) and of course as with all things that appear positive for the Illini, take it with a grain of salt.

All for it vs an open roster spot (assuming we aren’t in the hunt on Patterson), but Scanlon played against one P5 team last year. That was Rutgers, and he shot 5-14 from the field (1-7 on 3’s) with three rebounds.

Add a short acclimation period and I don’t see him beating out Kipper or Tev for the wing position.

But depth is always a good thing.

I dont think it's fair to judge a player by one game. I trust our staff. I'm 56 and I recall Harper going 1 for 19 and yet to me he is one of the best players to wear orange n blue.
I'm not saying this guy is anywhere close to that but we all have off days. In BU I trust.
