I sure hope not. This LSU locker room looks tacky and garish. A little redundant, but I also wonder how this locker room would help the player do anything but sleep. From what I have seen the Smith Center is much classier and very functional.
I was talking to a coworker who was touting the LSU locker room. A quick question shut him down pretty quick. Remembering your youth, would you want to fall asleep in the middle of room full of college dudes? Heylll No!

Wow, looks really great. I am glad we did this, as I understand this is the more pressing concern RE: football facilities when it comes to player satisfaction and getting recruits. With that said ... can we PLEASE get to fixing this now?

It is such an unfortunate wart on an otherwise beautiful stadium. I have had plenty of friends I have brought to Memorial Stadium who have said things along the lines of, "You guys would actually have a pretty cool stadium if you fixed up that one crappy endzone." It just looks amazingly small and goofy compared to the aesthetic of the rest of the stadium. I never thought I would miss those temporary bleachers, but they at least made it look a little bit bigger. What we should really do in the meantime is temporary bleachers to bring it down closer to the field and even with the two side sections.

Pretty sure that's the next big capital football project, as it should be.

After seeing our new facility and walking through UT’s facility about a month ago, they are fairly similar. Team room, meeting rooms, weight room, look almost identical. Wouldn’t be surprised if we modeled ours after theirs. Our players lounge with the bowling alley is better. Didn’t see the UT medical room. Our stairs look cooler.

But UT about to completely redo theirs. Like we’re all excited to get to this point, and at this same point, UT is like man we gotta do better. Just crazy.

Great to see the Excitement on the young men's faces, and a sign for them the work put forth is for "GREAT REWARDS " !!
My biggest or first thing I notice is how small the "SPEEDSTER" #20 Cumby is lol..
Should be great in space and couldn't be happier for our ILLINI!!

Robert's ALionEye twitter has some side by side comparisons showing the new facility next to the old equivalent facilities like the team rooms, players lounge, locker rooms, etc. Man, such a HUGE difference. I can't imagine it's not going to pay some dividends in recruiting down the road, which of course in addition to being just a much more functional and better environment for our student athlete football players, is certainly a big part of what it's all about.

Those comparisons are big eye openers!
