If we sign Miller without KKR or Curbelo then Miller will 100% start. TF would play PG to Miller's SG. Also Miller is trying to make the case that he's a Combo Guard as that would help him break into the NBA so he would welcome the opportunity to be a ball handler for Illinois alongside Trent. Likely Miller, Trent, and Hutcherson would become the 3 guys at the 1/2. Maybe they'd have Griffin plan some time at the 2 as well in that scenario which could make us a really tall team and really dangerous from deep if Griffin can shoot as hot as Trent.

Ideally we'd sign Miller and then one of KKR or Curbelo though. In that case, even if Miller doesn't start he would still get 25-30 minutes per game as Trent, Miller, and KKR/Curbelo would combine for close to 80 minutes.

Miller sounds as if he is a one and done regardless of where he might be going? Don't see that myself but....

Miller is going to start, zero doubt in my mind.

Hopefully it is Frasier/Miller/Curbelo replacing Ayo/Trent/Dre. Tough act to follow I hope. There is still Trent/Jacob/Alan as a backup. Good to have choices.

1. Trent (Frazier) / Miller / Curbelo would be great. Definitely agree there.
2. I think that Austin Hutcherson is MUCH more likely to play guard than Jacob Grandison. I also think Hutcherson may see some minutes there even if we get 2 of Miller/Curbelo/KKR. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Griffin play some minutes at the 2 if he finds his shot.
3. Trent at Point as a senior with Hutcherson (not Jacob) backing him up as a RS Junior and then Griffin at the 2 as a Junior with DMW backing him up as a Senior would not be the worst set of guards that Illinois has played... but it'd be a decrease from what I'm expecting our 2019-20 lineup to look like so I'm hoping that really is the "backup" and we don't have to rely on that.

Hearing that Miller is trying to build hype by saying he will wait till January to commit and that commitment could come late Oct or November possibly. Very similar to what Ayo did...

Also hearing that KKR plans to have a decision made by Christmas. TCU, ILL, Kansas, Arkansas the main 4.

He's pretty explosive there. Not a lot of guys are near the rim with their head in hs. He gets any more explosive, might need to wear a helmet

Info only...Davonte Davis has re-opened his recruiting...2020 PG with Arkansas considered a favorite as home school now....KK has Arkansas in Top 7? Both true PG, so it could affect a decision. Honestly, I would expect Davis to Arkansas and KK to Iowa St/Kansas however.

Arkansas has the makings to have a massive class btw....and their targets are much the same as ours...hmmm

KKR is one of many recruits at Kansas this weekend for MM. Other 2020's are #10-Isaiah Todd, #19 Bryce Thompson, and David Bradford (big man) out of STL. No mention of Adam Miller. There are also 4-5, 2021's there too.

Are these all official visits?
