Excited to show my kids their first ever football spectacle-mine first since Mackovic era! Given turmoil, rain, opponent - Is this a bad idea?

weatherunderground is saying it's going to be sunny on Saturday. So, yeah, unless you're pushing your kids toward Ann Arbor, probably a bad idea.

What’s IW injury that kept him out against Minn?

Do we have time to switch to the triple option before Sat?

They already run the triple option on defense -- missed tackle, missed assignment, dumb penalty. Actually, though defense hasn't exactly been good overall they have forced 6 turnovers in the last two games and scored two touchdowns. They're certainly not getting much help from the offense.

My father took me to see my first Illini game when I was 9. We played Michigan. According to my father I asked him "why are the Michigan players so much bigger than the Illini?"

Here's hoping Navarro starts in place of Smalling. And Stampley isn't allowed to suit up.

The offense is the problem, not to say we have a stellar defense, or 3rd down conversion is terrible there is no consistency in the passing game which is leading to run only option which is much worst as a whole this year due the lack of quarterback option. Basically of the RPO we only have the R which is allowing teams to stack the box on focus on or running backs thus poor first a nd second down production and low 3rd down conversion keeping the D on the field to long.

Actually Illinois scored 2 touchdowns against Minnesota --just not their offense. I'm thinking a defensive and a special teams touchdown.
I know we did. I should have been more clear, I meant the offense. Although I did say against Michigan's defense which would indicate that I was taking about our offense. I don't think expecting our defense to score two touchdowns against Michigan or Wisconsin is realistic.

Was also surprised to hear this.
Minny would have been a great game to give IW extended minutes.
Fleck wouldn't know what to do with him.

He didn't even travel with the team is what I've read. He wasn't there.

Was thinking about going to the game this weekend but the tickets prices are too high for this product.....
There will be some available for $5 outside the stadium. Of course, that might be too high.

We might lose by 50.

Harbaugh probably needs to have a dominating win this year right? Try to show that he’s still got it and the ship is turning around mid-season? (Even if it’s not)

What better place to do that than on Champaign in a cool October day.

He could put up 60+ if he wanted to.
