I'm done fellas. I hung in there with Lovie, I'm tapping out. Both lines and trash, the tackling is trash, the offensive scheme is trash....

Retain Patterson....everyone else goes.

I'm finally broken.

Yeah same here I wanted to keep fighting but the team isn't even behind him at this point. There's no product on the field.

If were going to look embarrising on the field every week, then fire Lovie so at least prospective recruits and the World knows this is unacceptable

Definitely in need of some new leadership, but we’re stuck with Lovie for the rest of the yr with him being d coordinator and all. It’s bon fire season so I’ll just enjoy the flames

This is about to be 35-0 going into half, isn't it? We should embrace this cleanse - it's time to find a new low. A new complete bottom that we can then begin to build out of.

Agreed. At first i didnt see any real reason to fire him mid season. But at this point, theres nothing to lose by cutting the cord now. We wont look any different.

by this point, I’m starting to wonder why I don’t actually put money down on bets for Illinois opponent to cover the spread and then some. That way either Illini play decent or I make money. Either way it’s a zero-sum game as an Illini fan sadly

I just can't get behind Lovie anymore and have been a cheerleader of his ever since he started at Illinois. Given the influx of talent this year, I thought that we would be better (or atleast competitive) but that is most certainly not the case. Gotta believe this is on the coaching staff because I think there is talent on this team but for whatever reason they just can't put it together.

Holy Crap! We scored???

Took Illinois 6 games to realize you are allowed to throw to BheBhe two plays in a row

No review, no penalties. We get to keep it.

There is no clear choice to be interim though. Rod Smith is just as much to blame as anyone on this staff.

Do we need more talent, YES! However, we are not 4 to 5 TD’s worse in talent than our competition. We are out coached by 3 to 4 TD’s week in and week out. JW it is now on you. There is no “hard-right” decision here. It is the easiest decision you will make in what should be a long tenure at your alma mater!

It's going better than I expected so far. We held them under 45 in the first half AND we got a touchdown.
