I mean, can this really be an excuse? I'd be embarrassed to use that poor of an excuse. Ha.

I would like to think it was the answer to has to why a 4* slash 5* kid is languishing on the floor in the final moments of a game, when his teammates turn the ball over instead of dribbling the ball out. They almost got a final layup off and won the game with Miller on the floor from the previous scrum play?

Musselman adds three in state quality recruits

If he lands KK, and he probably will, Arkansas may very well be in C-Ship conversations within 3 years. Assuming of course he keeps them all? With 2021 recruit possibility added to them, he is building a run and gun exciting talented team.

This article says Weston is technically a HS senior but may go to prep school next year. Hope he doesn't reclassify to 2020, leaving Illinois without an open scholarship to give him.

Good info, had not realized this...an offer has been made, it will be interesting to track and wathc to see how this works it's way out. The kid obviously had a great debut in the CPL, he has stated he wants to prove something due to not being allowed to play last year. If that is the case more nights like this will be forthcoming as will the interest.

Agree. And Arkansas doesn't seem to be doing too badly so far this year. 7-0. But not sure of strength of schedule of course.

Well in fairness it wasn’t Miller making the excuse. Irvin was quoted as saying Miller was slipping a lot and he told Adam to change them.
He changed shoes at the 8 minute mark in the second quarter.

For what it's worth he was wearing Air Jordan 1's up to that point - a shoe from 1985 - so I'm sure they were giving him problems.

AJ 1s worked fine for my middle school team ;)

This forum must have the highest concentration of NBA scouts on the internet based on some of the posts here.

The keyword is "internet".

Oh, there is an ignore button somewhere.

I played in white Chuck Taylors.

Me too, about the only choice. Either Hi tops or low cuts. Black ones were fairly rare. It's amazing that those "Chucks" have lasted for 50+ years and now I see them all over the world in a multitude of colors.

Here's the 3rd leg of the relay (after Ace Wolf and Ayo) that Ayo's Dad mentioned in the WCIA interview. Brandon Weston, mark it down, he's about to blow up big time.

I rocked the suede All Stars. I have 2 pair in the closet that I picked up brand new for a song recently. Sometimes it pays to have big feet!
