Huge win. The Illini finally have the talent to compete with any team in the country. My only worry with this squad was that the guys on this team have lost a lot of games. Losing can be contagious, just as winning can. After the debacle on Saturday, I was worried that they would continue to be haunted by the failures of the past...

Meh, not really. Ton of parity in College basketball. Not saying we will do it, but we're returning a team that beat a final four team last year and added the best freshman big I can remember at Illinois. Don't forget Loyola and Kansas State were playing for a chance to go two years ago.

I don’t either. The fact that they didn’t need to shoot light out to beat the #5 team in the country helps illustrate the potential of this group.

Great effort by the players and the coaches. Thought Ayo played really well and set the tone early with some inside baskets. He also rebounded well. We get that type of effort from him and the other players the rest of the way, and I think people will be happy.
That's we we need to do at home it needs to be the norm algain. That crappy first half vs m IU amI needs to stop and I think it will. Kofi is a beast and exactly what we lack last year.
