@Twangers - compare Spann and I. Williams as a QB for us. Who is the better fit or how do they compare as players? Do you see either as the obvious QB of the future for us?

Sorry but this isnt true according to people who have watched practice. Matt was better so Matt played
That is not what I read. IW supposedly only struggled with crossing patterns. IW was at times electrifying and made passes that only Peters could make is what I read. Robinson has always been the darling of Rod Smith. I never understood why. Peters I can see that, he has played well in games and has a body of work to support his starts, plus he is bigger and has a strong arm, etc... Robinson, I just don't get it. He looks completely lost on the field. I still believe that IW with more playing time would be much better in 2020. IW threw for over 8,000 yards in high school and over 100 passing touchdowns. This kid does not help the team sitting on the bench or occassionally playing in extremely obvious qb running plays. Peters needs a big time backup or successor.

Didnt hear/read that. IW did show flashes, but didnt have the grasp of the offense that Matt did. And what IW did in HS doesn't matter. A lot of times he had way more talent on his side than his opponents. Kids a great talent no doubt. He just wasnt ready and couldn't stay healthy. Nothing he showed while playing should show you any different

Don’t know who fed you this but it’s WAY off. Way, way off.

I like the surprises. ESP is going to be FUN! And then hopefully hearing about what went on behind the scenes, too. This thread will get loooong.

IW's still playing high school ball with flashes of those days in camp and limited action. Robinson knows every play in that book which gives him the edge as backup(chase daniels). My only question on this subject's what's up with Coran? Strong arm, athletic, has been in the program...Any insider info on Coran?
