Absolute garbage. Team not prepared and not understanding what it means to play hard. Missing layups is inexcusable. How you can not be mentally ready for these clowns on the other side is beyond me. Letting Picket and Smith celebrate in your face is embarrassing. I'm embarrassed to be an ILLINI basketball fan today. This sucks.

Weak performance overall, but the rotations? Addtionally, the weak side rebounding was pathetic, and that should have been resolved during the game. Overall, it was an "F". Can't point at a player or coach that performed today.

Perhaps the most fatigued I’ve felt as an Illini fan. These “big” wins over the past decade mean—like Michigan this year—are hard to celebrate because it’s the defining aspect of Illinois sports for years now. One big “pop” win making us finally think we’re moving in the right direction typically followed almost immediately by head-scratching losses—AND ones in which we come out flat. It’d be one thing if this was a dog fight or Missouri came shooting lights out out of nowhere. But we also LOOK bad in addition to losing, completely letting the air out of the momentum. Tired.

Concerning thing is BU is not consistently maximizing the talent. Need to get AG, Tev, Frazier back on track.

What a huge steaming turd in the Christmas stocking. Losing to those clowns is never good but that was an absolutely embarrassing performance.

Kofi will be back next year. Has massive potential but so much was shown of what he has to still develop.

Honest question, how much has the extension of the 3 point line impacted our shooters? A team of shooters that when we shoot, I'm actually shocked when they do go in.

Not quite sure which is worse - getting punked by former recruits for the second year in a row OR having to watch Clownzo gloat in the post game interview??

Here’s why we Blame Underwood - we played Missouri’s game all game.. that’s coaching and preparation. Game execution. We press them early and speed up our tempo. They took our game plan out of it. The players rely on coaching to draw up plays.. our offense was horrible.

The biggest play in that game, to me, was the Pinson bailout three when we were up 6. I think we were just about off to the races and that absolutely snuffed out the flame.

Ok, I feel much better, and still know the team is going to be a helluva lot better as the season goes on.

Agree with others that this is Underwood’s worst loss at Illinois. That was one of the first games in my time as an Illini fan that I turned it off to clean the house instead. I couldn’t bare watching that hot mess. NCAA tourney hopes are dead because this team can’t come close to winning 10 big ten games.

I am simply dumbfounded that Underwood has no answer when opponents take Frazier and/or Kofi out of the offense and dare yoiu to beat them from the perimeter.....which is what any good coach will do....and which Mizzou planned to do and did. I guess he must have massive confidence in the weave which where quickness is negated by switching. Wish I knew what the thinking is for this coaching squad. That said. if Illini make free throws and layups they likely win. Horrible shooting game but Tigers defensive effort was admirable.
