Hard to win on the road in this league, especially in Madison. I just want us to come out with intensity again ... play like the FIGHTING Illini every game from whistle to whistle...

... with that said, we almost beat them last year, and we are SO due in this series. We can win.

I’m not getting my hopes up here. I will say I loved Trent as the pg tonight and if we stick with that maybe we can show more energy on the road too.

If we want to make the big dance we must start winning some road games Bucky is beatable lets due it

We have 8 road games and 8 home games left. IMO a good bar to set would be 9 more wins (plus one in the BTT). I would love to see us go undefeated at home but realistically 6-2 should be the goal. That leaves us needing 3 road wins (man, that Maryland win would've been nice). This is probably one of the more winnable.

So huge game. But really do we need to say that anymore? The margin of error is so small now that every game is huge.

Quick check of prior season results and it looks like we haven't beaten Wisconsin since January 2011. Can that be right? I know Groce never beat them while he was there.

Illini up to #33 in KenPom, Wisconsin at #24. This is the type of game that will look good on a resume at the end of the year and i think we get it.

Playing at Wisconsin is always tough no matter how good Wisconsin is. Gotta bring that same energy we had in the 1st half against Purdue.

Yep, they haven't lost at home this year, and they're on a 4-game win streak. Game is winnable, but I think I lot on here including me were saying MSU game was winnable. Just never know with this Illini squad. Last night was a positive step, but no guarantee it will carry over against Wisconsin. But sure would be nice to get the win in Madison and follow that up with two home wins for a 4-game winning streak in the B1G.

Tickets can be had for $6.
I'm in for a chance at seeing the first win against the Badgers in over 3,290 days.
They were THIS close to doing it last year at the Kohl Center.

It depends on our D. If our D does very well, then the focus shifts to our O. IF both click, then we win by 22.
