Here is the latest mixtape I could find on Kendall Brown, it's from June of 2019 so the highlights are from his sophomore year. He's listed as a 6'-7" 180lb SF and averaged 17ppg for his HS team that went 28-4. At the time of the video he was ranked #14 for 2021 by ESPN and had offers from Baylor, Texas, and Minnesota. I'm no NBA scout so I'm not going to try to dissect the video (mostly dunks and blocks anyway) or make some wild comparison to an NBA Hall of Famer, but I think he'd be fun to see in O&B and would definitely help fill the hole we have at the 3 spot.
But I am positive that none of us deserved it

Mario McKinney transferring from Mizzou to Illinois.....John Logan College in Illinois (not Illinois University). Will play there through the 2021 academic year after which he will have 2 years of eligibility left.

That jump shot isn't winning any pageants, but everything else he's doing would look pretty incredible in orange & blue.

What's the word on Max Christie? Are AAU politics at play?
Think I've watched too many mix tapes. I don't envy staff having to figure out who's the real deal, or project how they'll develop both personally & as a player. No question that they've hit some home runs though. Can't wait to see guys drafted and have more former Illini in the pros.
Kendall Brown reminds me of George Conditt. (face and hair). Different builds though and looks like totally different games. Conditt was a skinny 7 footer who liked to shoot 3 pointers, in some highlights at least.
