We only have 6 open slots for this class. (2020) I’m guessing you were looking at thre 2021 class.
Oops it looks like my original response got lost. Long story short it looks like I just misunderstood what the openings on the grid meant. Just glad we are not in such a scary place as I thought. Thank you for responding.

No problem, and as it stands, Lovie and his crew are being selective with those rides. They are looking to give them out to grad transfers, standard transfers, or late signees.

6' 5", 220 lbs according to his twitter page: https://twitter.com/Beetham_

Am not suggesting he's ready, but he should be able to compete after ~18 months. And that's a very good thing. Definitely worthy of PWO status.
Joe I dont want to make anything more of this than needs be. We both agree he is worth a PWO. The 247 stats I posted were verified at the Nike Opening. When I was in HS, I was 6 ft 200lbs but I was listed at 6"1' 220, like 90% of kids. I'll go off the verified measurements

Who fracking cares. If he is 212lbs, that is still pretty good for a frosh or a QB. See his pic? He isn't a bean pole.

Y'all are too into this stuff, lol.... So we've got what? 3 PWO's from IL here in the last week or two? Isn't this what was being talked about as making inroads within the state?

One is going into his third year of college and another is still in high school and underlisted (now at 220lbs). By the time he would actually suit up he'll be pretty close to Peter's size.
The original post said he needed to add weight. Yes or no? Yes he does.

Yeah shouldn't we be speculating whether or not 5 star Brody Jones is coming

Something, something, growth plates, something, something.
Yep! Always amazing the margin for error in measuring even the heights of BBall recruits. We can get game clocks down to a tenth of a second, but height and weight, all estimates and open plates. I blame the 70’s when they tried to push the metric system on us.

Also, discussion always reminds me of Chevy Chase in Fletch. What was he, 6’1” & 6’6” with the Afro?

This is one of the sillier arguments/discussions I’ve seen here, and that’s saying something.
Your right. With all this recruiting news going on, I am sorry our conversation in a public conversation forum doesn't meet your standards and is mucking up all the space. Carry on with all the other important topics....

I think the idea is for him to add another 10-15 lbs of muscle to his frame. It goes without saying that most high school recruits could add at least 10+ lbs before seeing the field. This is why we redshirted 21 players this year.
