Deron Williams will be in the house tomorrow night

Hoping for a flashback to 16 years ago today, when Deron and the Illini took down MSU at assembly hall 75-51

Its been a while since ive been able to enjoy a few in Champaign then head over the SFC. Any good pregame bars that wont be filled with college kids?
The Esquire, downtown. Big place, reasonably priced, good food. And if you're like me and can't resist sad-sack dives, cross the street and do a shot of Evan Williams at Brass Rail before you head out.

This game does not give me a good feeling. I had a good feeling on Maryland game. Hope this all works in reverse

Surprised to see Vegas at MSU -1.5, I would have thought it would have been the other way around. I guess our 2nd half performance against the Terps didn't help.

Oh well, if you would have told me back in November that we would only be a 1.5 pt dawg against the pre season #1 team in the nation in February I would have signed up for a large amount. We have the right stuff to contain Cassius and that is key. The rest of MSU is a cr*p shoot, in that you just don't know what you get from game to game.

Maryland is better than MSU in my opinion. Stix and Cowan are major problems for us. than what MSU has. Maryland is really the only team whos top 5 players are on par with ours. I just hope AG plays even more because we need more possessions. offensive boards, and his shooting to spread the floor

I don’t believe we’ve won a game with Dakich on the call this season. However, we all remember how it ended last year against MSU.
It didn't end well, right? ....................For MSU that is.

Sweet. That’s 3 free points for you to jump on it. What are you going to do with all your winnings?

Came here to say the exact same thing. Really, really hope we show some grit and pull this one out. But MSU doesn’t lose 4 games in a row.

Go Illini!

The Brass Rail brings back memories. Was the second to last stop in an all day Z to A pub crawl. Alley Cat was the final stop

So...why exactly is MSU the Vegas favorite, even though we’re ranked over them and at home? Is that just because they’re MSU and we’re Illinois?

They're going down. Vegas doesn't like to lose and they're on the wrong side of this out of sunk cost fallacy.

Need to limit MSU's easy run-outs, they thrive on that, need to keep Trent on the floor (Trent on Rocket not Cassius should help with fouls), and not have those long scoring droughts and we will win. We are a better team right now and are at home. If we give up easy buckets, get in foul trouble, and get lackadasical with possessions we most likely will lose. Tough defense and value the ball. Oh, and 50% from the free throw line and we deserve to lose.
