Liddell not having a good game today vs Purdue. Purdue has been uniformly brutal on offense...still at a below one point per minute pace.

I haven’t read anything lately but I began thinking about this yesterday. I think Giorgi has played his way to a bench role until he gets out of his funk.

Super small but not terrible, especially with monte gaining confidence and hitting shots lately. (I’ve said a million times I’ve never seen someone with such good form miss so much like he had been for the last couple years).

off the bench you have Giorgi and kip. Tev in a pinch.

Downside is we’re not real deep and losing anybody is a daunting task, Ayo in particular. Can Rutgers shoot? Wouldn’t be surprised to see some zone in this one the help with foul trouble or fatigue at certain points.
I agree that this is a distinct possibility and I actually thought this was possible before the Ayo injury.

I could see Ayo getting a spot-up 3 off the bench, but no hard cutting and no driving. Limit his minutes to maybe 5 total. But I'd also be fine with him not playing at all. Quite certain he will want to, but risking his season seems like a bad tradeoff.

Feeling optimistic again, with or without Ayo. We’re due to start clicking again, and the road hasn’t been this insurmountable task that some here are being afraid of.

Let’s do this!!

None of us have examined him I so don’t know how anyone on this board can make a judgment on him playing or not. If medical folks ok him and he thinks he can play, by all means PLAY!

Exactly, I ve seen guys fall like that and play the next pick up game and i ve seen them fall like that and be out a year. You cant always trust your eyes. I recall Jordy Nelson getting hurt basically just turning around with out being touched and we have all seen others where they look awful and they are back in 5 minutes. I think they have played this really close to the vest. I wouldnt be shocked at all if he plays since the news was positive. Young guys heal fast if there is nothing torn.

If that is all he is capable of I’d think we won’t see him at all.
