Is it too late to root for Miami? They are in a tight game with Clemson in the ACC tourney. So good to have 11 a.m. basketball games on TV again...
I picked the first round of the ACC tourney and the first round of the SEC tourney in the manner that would benefit the Illini...however minimally...in the NET. So no, I'd say it isn't too late from my perspective at least!

Cool - except watching them play you forget how frustrating it is to root for teams that are so bad. Damn miami is bad. Our defense was so bad in that first half, ugh

Is there anyone else to root for that benefits Illinois besides Mizzou?

Looks like Miami has completed it’s trek of being an anchor to our tourney resume.

Also, IU is hovering around the “last 4 in”.

Can you imagine if they lose to Nebby while Nebby is using football player replacements??

IU is a 15 point favorite.

Also,
Nicholls State is playing tomorrow (first round bye) in the Southland Conference tourney. On a side note, Nicholls State finished second in the conference. Much higher than they were predicted.
Hampton lost in the Big South tourney final to Winthrop. Hampton finished in 5th place in the conference.
The Citadel finished last in the Southern Conference 0-18. Lost in the first round of the tourney.

Not sure why but I was expecting Minnesota to play better. Really all I want is one of these teams to make Iowa work tomorrow, which I figured the Gophers had a better chance to do

BTW, I just saw the Nebraska-Indiana score with three minutes left in first half. What that heck is wrong with the Hoojins?! Lol. They'll tar and feather Archie in downtown Indy if he loses this one.

EDIT: Never mind. IU just went on a 14-1 run to end the half. I would have dearly cherished Nebraska beating them.
