For you guys in the know, do you see the NCAA's extension of the dead period until the end of July now, affecting anything positively or negatively with any of our current targets?
Of course it affects recruiting in a negative way how much is hard to say..
The difference between a zoom visit and an unofficial/official cannot be underestimated.
Zoom can be positive if used correctly, however the staff much rather would have the recruits step on campus, get the tour and see the atmosphere.
Having a kid come into state farm center and witness the environment first hand can play a huge part in getting a comittment, doing the same thing on zoom is nowhere near as effective.
With that being said,
Our staff is doing their due diligence, in a tremendously effective recruiting manner.
So all in all I dont think it will hurt us as much since it affects every school in the same manner.

The earlier "decipher post" has me trying to decipher other oddly formatted posts like this one... OTZHWOS.... Anyone have any ideas? lol

Oh as would I lol. If he would reclassify he would have to spend 2 years in college and I think that is a draw back.
Why do you think that is a drawback? Alternative of 1 yr in HS and 1 yr of college seems less of a development opportunity. Is there another alternative?

All of this news seems to be incredible. To me, insiders seem to confirm Kofi is back. Ayo leaning that way but not as rock solid confirmed as Kofi? Would that be a fair way to look at where we're at right now?

Big thank you to 0440, Indy, Lville, and Boss for your constant insight. I know things change constantly with info and what not but with the lack of actual sports on tv, being able to come on here and get sport related update from all of you is awesome! Thanks!

I made a post about this earlier, but if I understand the way the NCAA is going, he will be able to profit off his likeness in college. Not sure if high schoolers will be able to. I doubt it. Therefore, he could make money for two years if he reclassifies, as opposed to only 1 if he doesn't.

Article posted today from Sport Illustrated quotes “I’m definitely gonna be at Hillcrest next season,” Foster said. “I’ve got other goals that I want to accomplish with GEICO Nationals and individual goals so I’m not going to be moving up to 2020.”

:(
Too bad. Thanks for posting. Must have some lofty high school goals to take precedence over starting on a potential final four team.

Are we sure there aren't any cryptic messages hidden within the article? Maybe the first letter of every sentence spells out, "I've made my decision. I am going to reclass and commit to Illinois."
