Wow what an amazing last 12 hours! I am 60 years old needed this lol. Now please be a season :)

AC is really an interesting freshman. Illinois, with a true facilitator to Kofi and a “shooting” Trent Frazier, Dosunmu and Miller sounds pretty good to me?

I think with both Ayo and now Kofi back we are better than at least 2 of those teams ahead of us in that rough ranking. We are a borderline top 5 team.

Not to mention, there is something really attractive about being part of a championship caliber team. Our best players will get plenty of minutes, and that Includes Curbelo and Miller. I still believe that the lineup at the beginning of the season will not be the same at the end of the season. The truly special will start. Those that make everyone else around them better will make their way into the starting lineup as well. And there will be others that will buy into the team first mentality and step back to share the spotlight with them.

All this preseason stuff is a guess, of course. I'm not sure we're top-5, to be honest. There are other teams with a lot of returning talent, and we still need an answer for the 4 spot. When you look at the top-5, you're looking at some very talented teams, often with multiple players that are match-up problems. Ayo and Kofi are problems for virtually any team in the country, but Maryland for example, did a great job dealing with Kofi, while having a stud of their own in Oturu.

We may very well be that good, but I'm holding my expectations a bit lower for now.

At this point I'll I want is a season! LOL! Don't care if we're Top 5 or Top 25.

Oturu was a gopher. Sticks was a terrapin. I would look for Kofi to make a sizable sophomore leap. Last year he was a freshman with a grand total of 3 years experience. He will be a beast this year. Top 10 pre season ranking is totally justified.
